Here are the funky Meters Tour Dates for this Spring. The quartet features original members George Porter, Jr. and Art Neville and longtime collaborators Brian Stoltz and Russell Batiste. The band recently dusted themselves off and scorched through a 2+ hour set at Tipitina’s on Friday night in front of a jam-packed house to end 8 months on the shelf. NOLA > NYC > Australia > ?  Check out the global trot below which includes an Austin City Limits broadcast recording and an already announced show at the Bear Creek festival in Live Oak in November ’11, and if you’re in the area, don’t miss a second.

Wesley grew up in coastal Georgia and is a former resident of The Music City and The Big Easy where he helped get LMB NOLA off-the-ground after launching in January 2011.
