2011 Foburg Music Festival Lineup – March 11-13 on Frenchman

Futurebirds, Toro Y Moi, Big Freedia, Revivalists, Das Racist and many more make up the nice array of up-and-coming national acts and local indie talent in the 2nd Foburg Music Festival lineup. This is a great idea for a festival (to compile bands routing towards SXSW into a festival format) that I expect to grow larger and gain more of a national foothold with each edition. Seems like there should also be someone putting together something for the weekend of Austin City Limits festival since so many big acts come through that weekend anyway…but that’s another idea altogether. This lineup was announced just yesterday and the festival will take place the weekend after Mardi Gras – March 11-13. I will undoubtedly be at that Futurebirds, Toro Y Moi, Lee Baines III show at Circle Bar on the 13th, gonna be a big one.
