It’s George v. George on Friday night with Meters legend George Porter Jr. playing at Tipitina’s and former Widespread Panic guitarist (2002-2007) and Mississippi native George McConnell at the Maple Leaf. I’ll be checking out Lissie on Tuesday and one (or both) Georges on Friday.
