Worship the daily announcements?

One day at a time, this long, strange experiment in fan patience and social media outreach continues, leaving the festival’s more loyal fans anxiously awaiting daily afternoon artist announcements via Voodoo’s Facebook and Twitter feeds. Of course, the reviews each day are met with a mix of both real and trollish criticism and genuine enthusiasm as each new act rolls across the news feed. Here are some of the varied responses to yesterday’s announcement that TV on the Radio would be joining this year’s ritual:

People are so sensitive to what others say about artists, as if they’re on a personal level with them.

And my personal favorite: Creed are alt rock legends…up there with the Beatles/stones/nirvana as a life changing band
