Last week, returned to New Orleans for a lengthy show at with their newly reunited original lineup that now features Howard Levy in the place of Jeff Coffin, who has been off touring with Dave Matthews Band for the past few years. To be a member of this band, you must be a MASTER of your instrument and Howard Levy certainly fulfills this lofty responsibility on both the piano and harmonicas.

Below you’ll find a video that our boy BigLonTheDon snagged from the show and a photo gallery of shots by Jimmy Grotting. Word from this show is that it was one of the best of the year, Victor Wooten is still a God of the Bass Guitar (particularly on “Sinister Minister” bass solos (see 2nd video below), and the Flecktones still give the fans a two-setter well worth more than the price of admission.

Recently, Hodges moved on to L.A. where Abita Beer is hard to find, costs about $6 if located and impromptu parading in the streets will most likely get you arrested on the spot.
