Jack White Will Perform @ 2012 Hangout Music Fest

According to reliable festival trackers Consequence of Sound and as a press release detailing his tour dates confirms, the former White Stripes frontman Jack White will headline the Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama on May 18th. The full lineup has not been released yet, but White is expected to hit the festival circuit this summer and has already announced a headlining slot at Sasquatch! the weekend after in Washington State. White will release his debut solo album Blunderbuss on his own Third Man Records imprint on April 24th. You can listen to the lead single “Love Interruption” below. Wilco has also been heavily rumored and Cage The Elephant confirmed their appearance today by adding a Hangout appearance on their web site and The String Cheese Incident let the cat out of the bag, adding the fest to their 2012 tour dates.

The 2nd wave of tickets for Hangout Festival go on sale Friday, February 10that 10 am. We’ll have the full lineup as soon as it is released.
