Hangout Music Fest Announces 2012 Lineup Via Facebook

189 miles and 100 days to Hangout 2012

After Friday afternoon’s Jack White early announcement, the motherlode of names are beginning to roll in for the 2012 Hangout Music Fest. Starting at midnight last night, the festival periodically released names in waves of three (including one show poster that had Skrillex, Randy Newman and Rebelution – doesn’t get much more eclectic than those three). The release style served as a briefer version of the social networking event/experiments prior largescale festivals have embarked upon in recent years including Bonnaroo 2010 and Voodoo Experience 2011. If nothing else, it’s a great way to rev up your constituents and sign on a bunch of new people to follow along the festival’s facebook page and this one didn’t drag on too painfully long like the others.
