PHOTOS: Puscifer @ Baton Rouge River Center Theater 2/25/12

Puscifer recently made a tour stop at the Baton Rouge River Center Theater on February 25th as part of the band’s tour in support of their 2011 LP Conditions of my Parole. Puscifer is led by Maynard James Keenan, better known as the frontman of monster progressive metal band TOOL and standalone side project A Perfect Circle.

Female vocalist Carina Round opened the show and later served as a second vocalist opposite Maynard James Keenan during Puscifer’s set as a member of the touring band. The show was a hybrid of live music and funny short film visuals, befitting of the tour’s “trailer park” theme. Continue on below for a photo gallery from the show. All photos by Paul Kieu.

No shots of Carina? Are you kidding me?
Lay off the Maynard shots and spread the wealth a bit.
Just a simple recommendation.

I was limited in the areas in which I was allowed to shoot, and unfortunately the view of Carina was blocked from where I shot.

I, too, wish I could have gotten more Carina images because she’s a great artist, but this is just how things went through.

Wish I could have got some of her as well, but she was toward the back of the stage and hidden from sight because of my angle. Unfortunate how that worked out, but Puscifer’s team graciously allowed me to shoot the concert, so I complied with what they asked of me.

Loved the show…. Was a great venue.. Simple set… yet… enough for the show… Music…. very different from Tool or A Perfect Circle… sort of…… Pink Floyd meets Arizona desert…. We had a great time… Please come back soon!!!!!
