Before notably stopping into the Big Easy to film a music video for “Brendan’s Death Song”, the legendary California rock band took to stage to play to an enormous crowd on the beach at the 2012 Hangout Music Festival. Ali & Mike Kerr captured some amazing shots of the band’s triumphant performance. The Red Hot Chili Peppers return to NOLA for a show at the Arena on October 4th as a make up date for the February show that was postponed. Next, RHCP makes their Manchester, TN debut on Saturday night as headliners at the 2012 Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival – stay tuned to Live Music Blog for coverage of their set down on the farm sometime next week. Wesley grew up in coastal Georgia and is a former resident of The Music City and The Big Easy where he helped get LMB NOLA off-the-ground after launching in January 2011.
