If you took the time to click the link in order to read this preview, then you probably already know everything you need to know about the beastly Animal Collective, about their enigmatic formulas of loops and scoops and whirls and twirls, about their intensely psychedelic ensemble of lights, and about their strange alter-ego destinations of identity. And you probably know about their latest album, Centipede Hz, having just hit the shelf earlier this month. So what’s left? Well, I am here to tell you that they are playing at House of Blues this Saturday, 9/29/12, and that the show is going to be a bean-spilling journey into the mystic dance halls of popping beats, craning synths, and sweet and tasty harmonies. Did I mention the lights? Yes, I did, but I’ll mention them again – if the stage is ripe to true AnCo form, the lights should blow your human mind as much as the music will.
